Financial Assistance

Southwestern Women’s offers financial assistance for those who qualify. If you do not have insurance, or if your insurance does not cover abortion, we urge you to contact our office. If you are interested in donating to organizations that we work with, please visit our donations page.

We are a member of the National Abortion Federation (NAF). NAF provides help with grants towards abortion procedures for patients who qualify. We are able to do same-day qualifying for NAF financial assistance, before you arrive, over the phone.

Other international, national (United States), and local funding organizations may be able to help. Each group varies with particular requirements. They can help you, if you qualify and if funds exist at the time of your call. Visit The National Network of Abortion Funds’ website for a full list of organizations that provide financial assistance for abortion.

Transportation and Lodging Assistance

Southwestern Women’s is an outpatient facility. Therefore, patients having a multiple day process need to stay near (within 10-15 minutes) of our clinics. Please contact our office if you have questions or concerns regarding transportation or lodging during your procedure. We will work with you to find a close and affordable place for you to stay. It is important that you feel more comfortable while in our care. You may qualify for assistance with travel from your city to our office. Volunteer organizations, such as the Fund Texas Choice and New Mexico Religious Collation for Reproductive Choice, may be able to help with transportation and lodging for those who qualify.
